Bring Bowe Home

Bring Bowe Home

I wanted to share this project brought to my attention by a friend and previous client, Bill Poerner. He and many others have been fighting for the return of Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl, a 27 year old from Hailey, Idaho who has been held hostage by the Taliban since 2009. The mission of The Bring Bowe Home Project is to inspire a grass roots movement that will spread awareness for Bowe Bergdahl, making Bowe Bergdahl a household name, ensuring that Bowe is not forgotten.

Here Bill displays his POW-MIA prosthetic leg during an Honor-Release-Return awareness program held for POWs and to honor U.S. Army Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl at the Ocala-Marion County Veteran’s Memorial Park in Ocala, Fla. on Friday, March 28, 2014. The Honor-Release-Return and The Ride Home program was held to honor POW Sgt. Bowe R. Bergdahl’s 28th birthday.

Take Action. Political advocacy plays a crucial role in bringing Bowe home. Individuals are engaging their political leaders through letter-writing, phone calls, rallies, and in-person lobby meetings on behalf of Bowe.
